Learn the Artistry
Loes is a clothing designer who offers classes for experienced sewists. She shares her 45 years of experience as a wholesale clothing designer, pattern maker, and retail boutique owner. Her sewing seminars give sewists the confidence to make their own beautiful, clothing.
What happens at a seminar?
Each seminar allows for small groups to focus on learning Loes' techniques.

In a typical seminar, students will pick a project from patterns that are used for the Loes Hinse store. It could be a jacket, a pair of pants, or a t-shirt, for instance.
Then students learn to customize the pattern to their body and produce the project with Loes' unique methods and styling.

What should I bring?
-
An open mind :)
-
Loes prefers for people to bring their own machines (serger and regular sewing machine). Other arrangements can be made in advance.
-
Basic sewing tools: scissors, pins, thread, etc.
-
Loes curates a seasonal collection of fabrics that she uses to create clothing for the store. Some of these will be available for purchase.
-
If you have your own fabric, make sure to talk with Loes before bringing it, as not every fabric will work with her patterns.
